To test distributed solar PV solutions, based on five case studies (according to real conditions/data: real grid and real energy flows, and integration with energy and reserve markets), to identify the most promising approaches and best practices.
iDistributedPV will analyse the feasibility of the solutions applying the assessment methodology to the case studies.
The iDistributedPV project team and iDistributedPV Stakeholders’ Committee will establish hypothesis to contrast (the performance level of the equipment and components, the response time, procedures of load/unload and storage, the criteria active/reactive, the actions to manage the demand in an active way, the changes in the topology of the grid, the modification of the grid codes and DSO procedures, etc.) the case studies. The technical simulation will evaluate the response of the solutions at hourly level.
As the result of this validation process, the most promising solutions will be identified taking into consideration both the technical and the economic impact.
